Anthony F. Misitano
Principal, President & Chief Executive Officer
Tony is responsible for strategic direction, development, and the overall operation of Post Acute Medical, LLC. With more than 25 years of executive healthcare experience, Tony has successfully developed a variety of growth initiatives and strategic planning projects for long-term acute care and rehabilitation hospitals across the country. Throughout his career, Tony has served in a variety of professional roles in the healthcare setting. Among his many accomplishments, Tony founded and served as Chairman, President and CEO of Trans Healthcare, Inc., a $1.1 billion operator of over 200 specialty facilities. In addition, Tony served as the former President and CEO of Continental Medical Systems, Inc., a NYSE $1.5 billion dollar company. Tony remains an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
In his spare time, Tony has served on the Board of Directors for Good Shepherd School and the Development Board at Trinity High School. Tony supports his alma mater, Penn State, by serving as a member on its Advisory Committee to the Board of Trustees.
Corporate Executive Vice President
John is responsible for the operations and daily management of all Post Acute Medical facilities. Prior to joining Post Acute Medical™, John served as the Senior Vice President of Administration for Trans Healthcare, where he was responsible for Finance, Human Resource and Hospice Operations. Additionally, John was responsible for the financial operations, collections, budgeting and accounts payable functions.
John also served as Vice President, Finance for Continental Medical Systems, Inc., where he oversaw the financial operations of 37 freestanding IRFs and 130 outpatient centers in 16 states with annual revenues of approximately $600 million. John brings over 15 years of experience in the healthcare field.
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Karick serves as the Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions and is responsible for analyzing potential development and acquisition candidates as well as providing financial forecasts and analysis. With over thirteen years of experience in the healthcare field, where he was a former associate at Pricewaterhouse Coopers, LLP, Karick created financial models and provided economic analysis for healthcare clients. Most recently, Karick served as a Manager of Financial Planning at Select Medical Corporation, where he was responsible for treasury management, financial forecasting and analysis.
Dr. Adam Burick
Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Adam Burick joined the company in 2014 as chief medical officer (CMO). Dr. Burick is responsible for ensuring quality in all Post Acute's program, standardizing evidence-based medicine throughout all its hospitals and serving as the liaison between physicians and the executive team. A physician for nearly 21 years, he is excited by the challenge the job presents.
In addition to serving as a physician advisor to a large hospital operations company, Dr. Burick was one of several founders of an ambulatory surgery center in the late 90s, and served as an associate director of a surgical teaching program. A graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Burick completed his internship at the University General Hospital in Clearwater, Fla., and served as chief resident during his surgical residency with Pinnacle Health Hospitals in Harrisburg, Pa.
Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer
Lisa, who most recently served as Executive Vice President for Vibra Healthcare, brings extensive experience in strategy and referral development to the company. After beginning her career with a skilled nursing company, she eventually moved into business development and managed care for a national rehabilitation services provider. She would make multiple moves throughout the years taking on executive level positions of increased responsibility for marketing, strategy and managed care before joining Post Acute Medical™.

MacLean holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Robert Morris University.
Robert J. Tribeck
Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer
After serving as outside counsel to Post Acute since 2009, Rob Tribeck joined the Company as Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer in January 2015. As Chief Legal Officer, Rob is responsible for the overall operations of the Legal and Compliance Departments, including mergers and acquisitions, contracts, compliance, regulatory, litigation, and employment matters. He has over 20 years of legal experience counseling business clients of all sizes.
Rob joined Post Acute from Harrisburg-based law firm Rhoads & Sinon LLP, where he practiced since 1996 and served as Chair of its Litigation Department and as a member of its executive committee. Rob is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and the Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. After graduation, he was appointed to and served a Federal Judicial Clerkship with the Honorable William W. Caldwell from 1994 through 1996.
Bryan Munchel, PMP
Senior Vice President of IT
Bryan is responsible for the development, implementation, and support of our enterprise information systems strategy. He is an accomplished executive with a distinguished career of management, leadership, and technology innovation success. He has more than 30 years of experience in information technology in the areas of application development, strategy, project management, and data center operations. Previously, Bryan provided leadership on key system implementations and strategic direction as vice president at Carefirst BCBS, director at Capital Blue Cross, and director at Penn National Insurance.
Bryan holds a BS degree in Computer and Information Science and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
Kathleen Brown, DNP, MSHA, BSN
Executive Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer
Kathleen Brown, DNP, joined Post Acute Medical in 2014 as the Corporate Director of Quality and Case Management, was then promoted to Senior Vice President of Clinical Services, and is now Chief Clinical Officer.
In this role, she oversees all aspects of the clinical services delivery including staff development, documentation, program evaluation, planning and development, performance and process improvement for the Post Acute Medical (“PAM”) system. Additionally, she ensures the hospitals are improving the patient experience through improved quality and reduced cost.
Dr. Brown, who has over 30 years of nursing experience and has held various leadership positions in resource management, quality and innovation, cardiology, oncology, surgery, labor and delivery, emergency services, outpatient clinics and case management. She has been intimately involved in Transforming Care at the Bedside (TCAB) and patient flow and throughput initiatives. She has spoken nationally on TCAB and flow and internationally on case management.
Dr. Brown has a passion for nursing and is extremely passionate about providing quality care. This is her first time to be in a position to drive quality in the long term acute care and acute rehabilitation settings. Dr. Brown also serves as an adjunct professor for the Graduate School of Carlow University School of Nursing. To take the knowledge of acute care quality and share it in academia, is a win-win for her.
She has been honored as the Director of the Quarter and Director of the Year in a previous role, received the Excellence in Teaching Award from the Graduate School of Carlow University School of Nursing, honored as a Distinguished Alumni at Butler County Community College, received the Gartner Award-Healthcare IT Summit’s Innovation- Best Case Study Presentation, Cameo of Caring Advanced Practice Nurse Nominee, and UPMC Beckwith Fellow.
Dr. Brown holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Chatham University, as well as a Master’s Degree in Health Services Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She also holds Six Sigma Green Belt and Six Sigma Lean Belt certifications from Villanova University.
Senior Vice President of Human Resources
Waynea serves as the Senior Vice President, Human Resources as well as the Corporate Compliance Officer. Since joining Post Acute Medical™ in 2007, Waynea has held prior roles as the San Antonio Area Human Resources Manager and the Corporate Human Resources Director. She has worked exclusively in healthcare human resources since 1995.
Waynea is responsible for all aspects of human resources within the company, to include implementation and administration of compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, recruitment and retention.
Chief Operating Officer of Rehab and LTAC
As Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Carter oversees the operations and daily management of all Post Acute Medical long-term acute care and inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. As an advocate for our patients, Jason strives to ensure quality, successful patient outcomes. A proud graduate of Texas State University, with a Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders, Carter joined Warm Springs Specialty Hospital of Luling (now PAM Specialty Hospital of Luling). A few years later, Jason was promoted to Director of Rehabilitation and continued his growth and career path, accepting other roles such as CEO of several PAM hospitals, Regional Vice President of Operations, and, most recently, Chief Operating Officer.
Kristen Smith, MHA, PT
Executive Vice President of Development and Hospital Analytics
Kristen directs and oversees Post Acute Medical’s analytic functions related to operations, compliance, documentation, and reimbursement and regulatory policy changes to improve data driven decision-making across the company. In addition, Kristen joins the acquisition and development team in securing Acute Care joint venture partners, given her clinical background and vast knowledge of hospital operations and data analytics, she provides the analytic skills necessary in determining market needs, clinical programming specific to patient populations, and quality data necessary to demonstrate the benefit of a PAM partnership. Kristen has over twenty years of experience in the post-acute healthcare industry and has managed hospital joint ventures, national and international de novo rehab hospital development, business strategy, clinical operations, and quality. Most recently, Kristen was a Senior Consultant for Fleming-AOD, assisting post-acute care clients to improve clinical services, navigate challenging regulatory changes, and maximize efficiency and efficacy through data analytics, operational processes, coding, and clinical care practices. Kristen also served as Vice President of Quality and Rehab Clinical Operations at Vibra Healthcare, with oversight of their post-acute hospital clinical operations, quality, and safety. She collaborated in the development and implementation of the pioneering LTACH outcomes system LTRAX and managed compliance, CMS quality reporting (LTACH and IRF), outcomes data, quality assessment and performance improvement across their post-acute hospitals nationwide.
Anne Rotoloni Leon
Executive Vice President and Senior Development Officer
Anne joined the company in 2013 as Senior Development Officer and is responsible for the growth and development of post-acute hospitals through acquisitions and de novo projects. Anne is also responsible for the strategic alignment of joint venture partnerships with the communities we serve.
Anne has over 25 years of experience in hospital operations and development and has served in various leadership positions in operations, finance, and development.
